Sign-in methods
Email, Discord, Google and Steam sign-in.
You can sign in with your email and password, or with an account you already have elsewhere.
#Email and password
The default. Tick Remember me to stay signed in for 30 days on that device. If 2FA is on, you're asked for a code after your password.
#Discord and Google
Use Continue with Discord or Continue with Google on the sign-in or sign-up page.
- If you don't have a Rackvane account yet, one is created with that email.
- If you already have one with the same email, the two are linked, as long as Discord or Google has confirmed that email. That stops anyone from using an unconfirmed email to get into your account.
To link Discord or Google to an account that uses a different email, sign in first and use Account › Connections.
#Steam
Steam doesn't share an email, so it can't create an account. Link it to your existing account under Account › Connections; after that, Sign in with Steam works.
#Removing a sign-in method
Unlink an account under Account › Connections. Make sure you can still sign in another way, like a password or passkey, first.
