Server panel
Databases
MySQL databases for plugins, mods and bots.
Many plugins, mods and bots store their data in MySQL: economy plugins, permissions (LuckPerms), logging (CoreProtect), website integrations and Discord bots. The Databases tab creates a MySQL database for your server in one click.
#How many you get
The number depends on your plan (usually 1, 2, 3 or 5). Free plans don't include databases.
#Create a database
Type a short name (like main) and click Create. The panel creates the database and a user with its own password, and shows:
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Endpoint | 82.22.184.158:3306 |
| Database | s7810_main |
| Username | u7810_main |
| Password | Shown with a copy button |
| JDBC URL | Everything above in one line, ready to paste |
Most Minecraft plugins ask for host, port, database, username and password separately. Java plugins and many bots accept the JDBC URL directly. For Node.js and Python libraries that want a mysql:// address, use:
mysql://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:3306/DATABASE
#Reaching the database
Your database is reachable from your servers on Rackvane, not from the open internet. That keeps it safe from password guessing. To look inside it, use a plugin or a small script on your server, or ask us about access in a ticket.
#Reset a password or delete
- New password creates a fresh password; update it in your plugin's config afterwards.
- Delete removes the database and all its data for good.
Still stuck? Our team reads every ticket and usually answers within a few hours.
