Billing

Renewals and expiry

Prepaid 30-day periods, renewing, and what happens when time runs out.

Every paid server runs on prepaid 30-day periods. Crypto can't be charged automatically, so you decide when to renew; nothing is ever taken from your wallet without you sending it.

#See how much time is left

  • The server card in your dashboard shows "Renews in 12 days". It turns amber in the last 7 days.
  • Billing lists every server with its paid-until date and a Renew button.
  • The server page shows Paid until next to the server's name.

#Renew

Click Renew on the Billing page (or on an expiring server card). It creates an invoice for the next 30 days at your plan's price. Pay it like any other invoice and the new period is added to the end of the current one, so renewing early never costs you days.

#When time runs out

The moment a paid period ends, the server is suspended:

  • It stops, and can't be started or reached over SFTP.
  • Your files, worlds and databases are kept for a while, so you can come back.
  • The server page shows a red banner with Renew now. Paying it unsuspends the server immediately.

Don't wait until the last day: crypto payments can take a while to confirm. Renewing a few days early is free.

#Scheduled plan changes

If you've chosen to move to a smaller plan, the next renewal is billed at the smaller plan's price and the server switches when you pay it. See Changing your plan.
