FiveM and RedM

License keys, txAdmin and resources.

FiveM (GTA V) and RedM (Red Dead Redemption 2) servers run the official Cfx.re server with txAdmin available.

#License key

Every FiveM and RedM server needs a free license key from portal.cfx.re. Create one for your server's IP and paste it at checkout. You can change it later in Settings.

#txAdmin

txAdmin is the Cfx.re web panel for managing resources, players, bans and restarts. Turn it on from its card on the server page:

  1. Click Turn on txAdmin. It gets its own port.
  2. Restart the server, open the txAdmin address shown on the card and finish its setup (you link your Cfx.re account and pick a recipe or your own files).
  3. Until the setup is done, the game itself stays offline. That's expected.

With txAdmin on, kicks and bans are done from txAdmin.

#Resources

Upload resources into the resources/ folder with the file manager or SFTP, then add ensure resource_name to server.cfg and restart. For frameworks like ESX or QBCore that need a database, create one on the Databases tab and use its details in the connection string.

#Players

The Players tab shows who's online, read from the server itself.

#Connecting

In FiveM, press F8 and type connect <your address>, or use Direct connect in the server browser.
