Getting started
Connect to your server
Find your server's address and join it from the game.
Every game server gets its own address, made of an IP address and a port, like 82.22.184.158:25565.
#Find your address
Open the server in your dashboard. The address is on the server card and on the Overview tab, with a button to copy it. Extra ports some games use (query, RCON, voice) are listed under Network, but players only ever need the main address.
#Join from the game
| Game | Where to paste the address |
|---|---|
| Minecraft (Java) | Multiplayer › Add Server › Server Address |
| Rust | Press F1 and type client.connect <address> |
| FiveM / RedM | Server browser › Direct connect, or F8 and connect <address> |
| Valheim, Palworld, ARK and others | The in-game join or direct connect screen |
| TeamSpeak | Connections › Connect › Server Nickname or Address |
Most games also list your server in their public browser by the name you gave it, once it has been running for a minute or two.
#Can't connect?
- Make sure the server shows Running and the console has finished starting (for Minecraft, look for
Done). - Check the game version matches the server's version.
- Some games need a few minutes on first start to generate the world.
