Network and ports

Your server's address and extra ports for plugins.

The Network tab shows your server's addresses and lets you add extra ports for plugins.

#Your address

The main address (IP and port) is what players connect to. Games that need more ports, for queries, RCON or voice, get a block of consecutive ports automatically, and the server is configured to use them. You don't have to set anything up for the game itself.

#Extra ports

Some plugins need a port of their own, for example Simple Voice Chat, Dynmap, BlueMap or a plugin's web panel.

  1. Click Add port. You get a free port on the same IP.
  2. Add a note so you remember what uses it ("Simple Voice Chat").
  3. Put the port number in the plugin's config.
  4. Restart the server. The new port works from the next start.

The number of extra ports depends on your plan. Remove frees a port again; whatever used it stops working after the next restart.

#Ports you can't remove

The main port and ports the game itself needs are marked as required. They're part of the server and stay as long as it exists.
